Dave Holman

David Holman was born in 1983 in Maine where he lived for 19 years in North Yarmouth.  He attended Carleton College in Minnesota, majoring in Latin American Studies and Environment and Technology Studies. David has interned and written for The Resource Center of the Americas, and The Lakota Fund. His thesis was on Bolivian Microfinance's influence on Aymara and Quechua culture. He founded and operates The Spitting Llama Bookstore & Outfitter with partner Rommy Cornejo Diaz in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The two also founded Cochabamba Exchange to export fair trade products from Bolivia. He is a freelance writer, photographer and translator.

Dave works as a freelance photographer and writer for Renewing the Countryside. Dave's photography has been displayed in various venues.
